Eli Lilly reported positive results from two late-stage trials of its experimental obesity drug retatrutide, showing substantial weight loss and improvements in type 2 diabetes. In a 40-week phase 3 trial, patients lost 11.5% to 15.3% of body weight, with significant HbA1c reductions. The triple hormone drug mimics GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon.
