Myanmar revokes UN envoy Kyaw Moe Tun's status
Myanmar’s military government has revoked UN envoy Kyaw Moe Tun’s diplomatic status, accusing him of treason and misusing state funds while collaborating with the exiled National Unity Government. The junta is pursuing legal action through INTERPOL and US agencies despite his credentials remaining technically active. The NUG stated a national diplomatic post cannot be unilaterally revoked by military authorities.
