Sherrill orders probe into state police conduct at Delaney Hall protests
New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced the state attorney general will investigate civil rights violation reports against state police during clashes outside Delaney Hall ICE detention center. The probe follows allegations of excessive force, including tear gas use and protesters being penned in, during Memorial Day weekend unrest.
